SHRMA: "Lessons from the Mountain Top"

Come hear a lively presentation from Paul Spindel where he discusses lessons learned from his adventure climbing Mt. Hood. Paul shares learning many things during his hiking that relate to overall business leadership, Human Resources, and your personal life as well. Topics will include clarity of organizational values and goals, how to hold onto yourself during tough times, working in a team environment, setting your team up for success, acknowledging team success when it happens, lessons from failures and many more golden nuggets.

Paul brings over 18 years of Human Resources experience with Marriott and NIKE. Using his M.A. in Organizational Behavior as a foundation, he specializes in management and supervisory development, teambuilding, strategic planning and executive meeting facilitation. Paul’s strong business approach to human resource issues win him accolades, return business and recognition as a keynote speaker. He is sought after as a trainer and coach because of his tremendous energy and sense of humor, with the unique ability to teach through story and example. One participant stated Paul is “the rock star of motivational speakers”. Paul has taught at several universities and conducted hundreds of training programs for employees at all levels, both nationally and internationally. Paul’s global experience includes teaching Customer Service and Human Resources to Russian Hotel executives in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and Train the Trainer to Albanian television executives.
