Call for Speakers


Columbia Willamette Compensation Group (CWCG) welcomes speakers with an expertise in the total rewards profession to present stimulating and insightful topics.  Our members want to learn new practices they can adapt at their organizations and opportunities to enhance their skills. 

CWCG represents approximately 400 total rewards professionals throughout Oregon and southwest Washington.  There are four annual programs with two to three speakers needed at each event.  They occur in February, June, September and December of each year.   

Possible presentation topics could include any of the following:
•    How to formulate a total rewards strategy utilizing the latest trends and best practices.
•    Tools to help professionals in developing creative incentive plans that align with their organization’s business goals.
•    How to develop and enhance various total rewards programs from recognition to work life balance.
•    The trials and tribulation of executive compensation.
•    Becoming a super user: use excel for compensation planning and analysis.
•    Emerging trends in international compensation.
•    Professional development/leadership skills.
•    Developing a reward program that will motivate and engage employees through monetary and non-monetary means.
•    How to audit retirement and compensation plans
•    Creating a wellness program and determining its ROI for senior management.
•    And any related total rewards topic.

By giving of your time and expertise you are strengthening our local community and preparing future leaders.  Interested speakers should send a sample presentation or summary of a topic(s) they are interested in presenting to CWCG for consideration.  If you have an interesting topic that is not listed above, please send a summary as well, we are always looking for new ideas to present to our members. CWCG is a nonprofit professional association, by presenting at our events you are volunteering your time, compensation will not be provided.  However, travel assistance is negotiable.
