POSITION SUMMARY The Compensation Analyst develops, implements, administers and supports compensation programs consistent with District policies and procedures and labor contract agreements. All duties require the highest level of confidentiality.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Provide compensation recommendations and plan proposals based upon compensation theory and best practices that support the District mission and goals. 2.Manage various compensation data utilizing PeopleSoft HRMS. 3.Run queries and manipulate information via spreadsheets for analysis preparing compensation recommendations. 4.Analyze jobs using established evaluation system; allocate or recommend jobs to appropriate classifications; coordinate preparation of job descriptions. 5.Develop and recommend compensation policies and practices to support recruitment and retention of employees. 6.Collect and analyze data in preparation for and during labor negotiations. 7.Conduct compensation surveys, analyze and summarize results, prepare recommendations and present findings. 8.Design PPS compensation surveys and respond to requests from other districts and agencies. 9.Conduct market analyses using compensation surveys. 10.Implement compensation plan changes and ensure conformance with established guidelines, policies, and collective bargaining agreements. 11.Develop compensation related forms, documents, and informational materials. 12.Provide guidance to administrators, other departments, and outside agencies with the interpretation of District compensation policies and practices. 13.Work with HRMS staff to ensure compensation needs and salary structures are compatible with PeopleSoft system. 14.Provide support for the District's labor relations needs. 15.The highest level of confidentiality. 16.Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1.Bachelors Degree. Current relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirement. 2.Experience with job evaluation systems, job analysis and salary survey design and interpretation. 3.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. 4.Strong technology skills including spreadsheet, database, word processing HRMS and presentation software. 5.Knowledge of Federal and State compensation laws.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.Proficiency in PeopleSoft or similar HRMS system including performing system queries. 2.Three to five years experience in compensation, performing similar or related duties. 3.Experience in a large, complex, multi-location organization and/or a unionized environment. 4.Strong knowledge of compensation theory and practices. 5.Experience working with statistical information.
Salary:$49,358-$66,720 DOE plus a competitive benefit package.

1. PRIMARY PURPOSE
Responsible for planning, implementation and sales of market pay and business practices surveys (compensation, benefits, customer satisfaction, business climate, etc.) with emphasis on maximizing survey participation and sales, and assuring achievement of quality survey results.
Actively contributes to Cascade’s financial well-being through Member recruitment and retention efforts, promotion of all Association services, focus on the efficiency of internal processes and operations, and by seeking public opportunities to educate others about the benefits of Association membership.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the planning, implementing and selling market surveys to assure achievement of customer needs and to maximize related revenue; plans, schedules and leads survey committee meetings; seeks opportunities to promote survey participation and sales; monitors survey participation levels and mix of participants (industry, location, size, etc.); requests, compiles and analyzes feedback from participants to identify and implement survey improvements; oversees maintenance of databases relative to prospective participants, actual participants, sales, and costs for each survey; and develops, recommends and implements survey marketing material (promotional flyers/mailers, etc.). 50%
Develops and maintains survey input and output documents to assure achievement of survey quality standards; researches and writes initial drafts of material (e.g., letters, instructions, forms, reports, etc.); coordinates manual data input by administrative staff; screens data for accuracy and completeness; personally and through others, contacts participants to “clean/edit” questionable or incomplete data; edits survey reports for clarity, consistency, quality and accuracy; and coordinates with administrative staff to assemble, copy, and distribute final reports. Upon request, conducts special, one-time surveys and initiates compilation of special survey reports. 35%
Recommends and initiates automated survey system improvements to simplify survey participation and to support valid, timely and quality survey results (e.g., automated input/output, report formats, job descriptions). 10%
Provides regular input to department reports, coordinates completion of various survey related tasks with administrative staff (e.g., survey purchase requests and billings, survey exchanges with other associations, maintenance of current and historical survey libraries and files, etc.). 5%
3. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotes membership in Cascade Employers Association
Promotes/cross sells other Cascade products and services
Performs other duties as assigned
4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a degree and 3 to 5 years of survey related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively address
customer needs, promote survey participation and sales, and to interact with all team members.
In addition, given the nature of market surveys, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working with numbers and other detailed information to assure quality survey results.
The successful candidate will be: experienced in managing and driving product success; a pro-active self starter; a team player; and possess the ability to delegate as appropriate.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with a working knowledge of Access.
5. HOURS OF WORK
Generally requires a presence in the office during regular office hours, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Purpose:
Partner with HR management to develop and improve compensation programs. Oversee the administration and communication of compensation related programs and all mobility/relocation programs for the adidas Brand in the US.
Key Accountabilities:

Partner with Regional rewards to identify compensation strategies that support the both Group needs and individual regional needs.

Conduct job evaluations and keep aware of market developments and trends.

Responsible for maintaining the US salary grade structure, annual corporate bonus program and compensation policies and procedures.

Participate in formal and informal compensation surveys.

Maintain and improve current reward programs and design/develop new programs that support the rewards strategy.

Analyze data to identify any trends or issues related to compensation (performance ratings, compa ratio to midpoint, zone placements, and compression). Make recommendations to current and future programs based on data analysis.

Oversee the administration of our domestic and international mobility programs.

Managing relocation agreements, location reporting needs, tax coordination, vendors and employee questions, communication within and outside the US with mobility peers.

Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):

Experience working with domestic and/or international relocation preferred.
Experience within a international company a plus.
