HSA - An Overlooked Strategy
The presentation will cover recent health insurance industry trends as well as how employers and employees can utilize HDHPs alongside HSAs to tackle rising medical costs and concerns around financial security in retirement. We will discuss the full advantages of an HSA, including the often less talked about best practices, and how these accounts can benefits employees in retirement.
This 1st Thursday program will assist employers in evaluating whether they would like to offer a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) as well as illustrating the key decisions employees should focus on when choosing a plan (even when an HDHP is not an option). The lion’s share of the presentation is focused on how to deliver education to employees as the benefit’s value is only as high as the employee’s appreciation and knowledge of them.
